Southern AB Flooding: Volunteers Needed

Severe rainfall in southern Alberta has caused massive flooding in the towns of Canmore and Banff as well as surrounding cities. Both cities are in a state of emergency as major highways and roads have been washed out. Many families are being evacuated and many homes have been left without power. Volunteers are needed to help with sandbagging in the areas of Black Diamond, High River, Canmore, Banff and communities in Calgary. If you would like to volunteer or would like more information please contact our office at (403) 512-5261 or email administration@c-g-r.ca. Further information will also be posted online once it is made available. You can also help financially! Donations to these efforts may also be sent to CGR by contacting our office in Cochrane, AB through the details above.
